6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi made his only hit count on Saturday, clubbing a grand slam in a 6-5 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. The 24-year-old also drove in a fifth runner on a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the ninth inning. The long ball was just his second of the season, and his five RBI are just his second multi-RBI performance this season. He's been hitting ball well, catching five barrels so far (9.6%) with a 38.5 Hard Hit %. Hitting safely in five of his last six, Benintendi will look to continue creating opportunities for a struggling Red Sox lineup. He'll face Tyler Glasnow Sunday, before turning to the Tigers where he'll get to face four right-handers.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
