6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi (calf) is sitting Sunday because of a calf strain. Brandon Lowe will also get the day off with Joey Wendle’s return from the injured list. Manager Kevin Cash said that they expect Choi to be day-to-day going forward. Yandy Diaz will move over to play first base and third will be covered by Daniel Robertson. Choi wasn’t relevant outside of the deepest of leagues. Wendle will get the start at second on Sunday after coming off the injured list and will likely push Lowe out of some playing time. Lowe is slashing .288/.338/.616 with six homers and two stolen bases. Keep a close eye on this situation, as Lowe has the most upside for fantasy purposes.--Zach Alexander
