6 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson has been out of the lineup since the team's Japan trip in March after undergoing hamate surgery on his right hand. A's GM David Forst stated Sunday that he expects the slugger back in the club's lineup within two weeks. It's good news for fantasy owners to get Olson back, but keep in mind that hand injuries can linger and may affect a player's power game. The 25-year-old will return to the heart of the Athletics batting order although he may receive more days off versus lefties with the addition of Kendrys Morales.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
