6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer hit his seventh home run of the season in the ninth inning of a 11-10 loss to the Rangers on Sunday. Springer now has two doubles and three home runs over his last seven games and is slugging .603 in the month of April. The Astros leadoff man has jump-started the offense recently, including going 5-for-12 in the three-game series against the Rangers this past weekend. When Springer gets hot, he becomes one of the most dangerous hitters in the game.
