6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Brian Goodwin continues to stay hot at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two walks, two runs scored and his third home run of the season in the Angels 8-6 win over the Mariners on Sunday. Goodwin has been given an opportunity with the teammate Justin Upton (knee) on the shelf and he has run with it. He is slugging .667 in the month of April with one triple, three doubles and three home runs and has been perhaps the team's most consistent hitter. Upton will return to the lineup at some point and Shohei Ohtani will steal at-bats but Goodwin has cemented his role on the team moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
