6 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman Daniel Murphy (finger) was activated off of the 10-day injured list on Wednesday afternoon. Murphy fractured his left index finger in the second game of the season. He will start at first base and bat third against Anibal Sanchez and the Washington Nationals. Murphy only played in 91 games during the 2018 campaign, registering a .299 average with 12 home runs and 42 RBI. He is a massive part of the Rockies offense.
