FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Aaron Nola - P, PHI vs. MIA ($8,700)
Nola hasn't been his dominant self thus far, but he's still striking out over a batter an inning and should find himself soon. His start tonight is probably the cheapest you'll be able to grab him all year, and it comes at a perfect time against a weak Marlins lineup. Miami has the second-lowest wOBA in all of baseball against righties at .261, as well as the league's highest K-rate at 30.5%.
Rick Porcello - P, BOS vs. DET ($6,700)
Porcello's overall numbers are still horrible, but he looked much better last time out against the Rays, when he was just one out short of a quality start. He should build on that performance against the Tigers, who are among the easiest matchups for a righty with their .288 wOBA. Porcello works well as a contrarian play, as many owners may be afraid to even touch him at this point.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Joey Votto - 1B, CIN vs. ATL ($3,200)
The Reds should have a big game against Julio Teheran, who has a 5.61 ERA with a 1.75 HR/9. Votto will have lots of opportunities to score as the Reds leadoff hitter at home in a hitter-friendly park. Votto can be used as a piece of a Reds stack with teammates Yasiel Puig and Jesse Winker, who are also great values.
Michael Chavis - 2B, BOS vs. DET ($2,400)
Chavis already has a homer and a steal since being called up, as well as an impressive .824 OPS. The highly-touted prospect mashed throughout his minor league career and has a strong chance to produce against Jordan Zimmermann, who owns a 4.98 FIP. Chavis comes at a very cheap price and is in a fantastic hitter's park.
Justin Turner - 3B, LAD at CHC ($3,300)
Turner has obliterated lefties throughout his career, including a 179 wRC+ against them last year. He gets to face a southpaw in Jon Lester on Thursday and is quite cheap for a guy batting second in the Dodgers lineup.
Javier Baez - SS, CHC vs. LAD ($4,500)
Baez has shown no signs of stopping his torrid pace from last season, as he's got a dominant .315/.351/.640 line with seven homers. Opposing starter Ross Stripling has outperformed his 4.14 FIP this year, so don't be afraid to roll with an elite bat against him.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Brett Gardner - OF, NYY at LAA ($4,000)
Gardner has put together an impressive fantasy season with five homers, three steals, and a .851 OPS. He's in a nice spot for both runs and RBI batting third for the Yankees.
Andrew McCutchen - OF, PHI vs MIA ($3,600)
McCutchen is batting leadoff in an extreme hitter's environment in Philadelphia. He's walking at a career-high 17.1% rate and will have good odds at scoring when he reaches base.
