6 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez drove in two runs on two hits while also scoring a run in Wednesday's 11-4 win over Detroit. The 28-year-old backstop has hit four home runs through 20 games, already topping his 2018 total of three, while his 13 RBI are just four away from his total of 16 last season. This can't be considered a breakout, as he is slashing just .222/.265/.460, but it's good to see him utilizing consistent playing time. He'll continue to see the bulk of starts behind the dish, but batting in the lower third of Boston's batting order means there is little room for fantasy relevance outside of AL-only or two-catcher formats.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
