6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Trent Thornton allowed one run on two hits during a 5-4 extra-innings win over the Oakland Athletics on Sunday afternoon. Thornton struck out seven batters, but his control was an issue as he also walked five. He had allowed four or more runs in each of his previous three outings. The 25-year-old now has a 5.08 ERA on the season. He is nothing more than waiver wire fodder to stream against mediocre opponents.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
