Trevor Williams Gives Up Five Runs On Sunday
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starter Trevor Williams received a no-decision in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Dodgers, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out six over six innings. Williams was pitching well into the fifth inning but allowed four hits and three runs in the inning. This was the first time all season that Williams did not pitch a quality start and his ERA now sits at 3.38. Williams will be a decent source of ratios but the lack of run support from the Pirates' offense will continue to hold him back.
