6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Nick Margevicius suffered his third loss of the season Monday after allowing three runs (one earned) in 5 2/3 innings against the Atlanta Braves. Margevicius wasn’t efficient, yielding four hits and three walks in 93 pitches, but also fell victim to shoddy fielding that let in two critical runs in the third inning. The outing brings his season totals to a 3.23 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 in six starts. While his strikeout totals have been average, Margevicius has been a positive fantasy surprise and remains on the weekly streamer radar. He’ll face a tough challenge at home on Saturday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
