Nicholas Castellanos Warming Up As Of Late
6 years agoDetroit Tigers right fielder Nicholas Castellanos has largely had fantasy owners scratching their heads through the first month of the season, but the veteran slugger finally seems to be warming up and finding his power stroke. Over the last six games, Castellanos has put together a .280/.357/.560 line with two homers, a double and four RBI. Castellanos had strong power numbers in each of the last two seasons, with 26 homers and 101 RBI in 2017 and 23 homers with 89 RBI last year, leading many to predict a 25- to 30-homer campaign this season. He could still reach that mark if the past week is a sign of things to come. He'll face Vince Velasquez in an interleague matchup with the Phillies on Tuesday.
