6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz surrendered six runs (two earned) on eight hits through 4 2/3 innings of work during an 11-2 loss to the San Diego Padres on Thursday. He did not walk a batter and struck out three. Despite only being on the hook for two runs, it was another mediocre effort from the 27-year-old. He now has a 5.06 ERA through two starts on the season with only eight strikeouts. Foltynewicz was an All-Star for the first time in his career during 2018, but he has a long way to go to rediscover that form this season. He will have a tough test against the Los Angeles Dodgers in his next projected start.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
