6 years agoThe San Diego Padres called up outfielder Alex Dickerson ahead of the weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Dickerson, a native San Diegan, hasn’t played in the majors since 2016 due to back and elbow surgeries and will provide a left-handed bat to a deep outfield group. The 28-year-old was handling Triple-A to the tune of a .360/.462/.593 slash line with five homers in 104 plate appearances, so he’s certainly earned his shot. Right-handed reliever Luis Perdomo was optioned in a corresponding move. A career .779 OPS hitter with 10 homers in 95 major league games, Dickerson isn’t a fantasy option.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
