Derek Dietrich Homers Twice In Loss
6 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Derek Dietrich turned in a big night at the plate in a 12-11 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Friday. Dietrich went 3-for-4 with two homers and six RBI in the loss. The veteran second baseman went deep for a two-run shot in the first inning and then again in the third. Dietrich has been productive in his first season with the Reds, hitting .250 with a .980 OPS, seven homers, 10 runs and 20 RBI. Dietrich should be owned as a potential starter in all National League-only leagues and has value as a reserve in standard leagues as well.
