6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger broke out of a nine-game homerless streak with his eighth shot of the season on Sunday afternoon. Haniger finished the day going 1-for-3 with a pair of walks and runs scored as the M's bats woke up to a 10-0 thumping of the Indians. The solo bomb netted Haniger his 20th RBI of the season, and he's now hitting .246 with an AL-leading 30 runs scored. Expect Haniger to continue to put up excellent counting stats this season and his average to eventually creep back up to the .280s after finishing above this mark in back-to-back seasons.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
