5 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann (elbow) did some light tossing on Sunday for the first time since his elbow injury. Zimmermann is dealing with a UCL sprain in his right elbow and could eventually need another Tommy John surgery if the rest and rehab route doesn't work. The 32-year-old veteran is 0-4 with an ugly 5.93 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 21 strikeouts in 30 1/3 innings (six starts) this year and should be left to the waiver wire in all mixed leagues.
