5 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion (shoulder) has been dealing with a sore shoulder, but he has continued to serve as the DH for the M's. It's not serious enough to keep the veteran slugger out of the lineup completely, so it's not much to worry about. The 36-year-old homered on both Saturday and Sunday and is hitting .244/.377/.504 with 10 long balls and 23 RBI on the season in his first and possibly last year in Seattle. You won't get a high average from Encarnacion, but the power and run-producing abilities are not gone.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
