5 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows (thumb) went through a full workout on Monday and will go through another one on Tuesday. He thinks he'll be able to get into some rehab games this week and is "shooting for" a return this weekend against the Yankees. The 24-year-old was a revelation for the Rays and fantasy owners before his injury, hitting .351/.422/.676 with six home runs, 11 runs, 19 RBI and three stolen bases in 74 at-bats. He'll be a must-start when he returns to action and hopefully his thumb injury doesn't sap any of his power that he showed in the first month.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
