6 years agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez drove in three runs on just one hit, a two-run homer, in an 8-5 victory over Baltimore on Tuesday. The two-run shot in first inning marked the 200th of Martinez's career and his first since April 17. The 31-year-old has hit safely in five of his last six, including multiple three-hit games, while also driving in six runs over the same span. Martinez has 21 RBI on the season, but the Red Sox would like to see more power out of their middle-of-the-order hitter in the lineup. Boston faces Baltimore's Andrew Cashner on Wednesday before beginning a three-game series with Seattle at home.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
