6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (back) was seen taking batting practice on Thursday afternoon prior to the Yankees home tilt with Seattle. Hicks has been sidelined since spring training with a lower-back injury. After playing three rehab games with Single-A Tampa, Hicks has returned to New York to be with the big club, presumably being activated in the very near future. After slashing .248/.366/.467 in 2018, Hicks will be a welcomed addition to the Yankees injury-riddled outfield. Hicks is worth an add in any league where he's available and should provide a nice boost to those who have stashed him on their injured list.--Walt Clark
