6 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo was excellent in a Friday start against the San Francisco Giants. Castillo pitched six shutout innings, striking out 11 batters. The only blemish on his line was the five walks he issued, which kept him from pitching deeper into the game. Castillo has emerged as a front-line ace this season, both in fantasy and in real life. He now has a 4-1 record, 1.76 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and 70 strikeouts in 56 1/3 innings of work. He is a must-start whenever he takes the mound. Next time up, he will face off against the Chicago Cubs.--Matt T - RotoBaller
