Rays' Brent Honeywell To Be Re-Evaluated
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Brent Honeywell, who has been sidelined since undergoing Tommy John surgery in February of 2018, is dealing with a setback from the procedure. On Monday, Honeywell was seen by Dr. James Andrews, who confirmed that there was irritation of a nerve in his pitching arm. He is set to be re-evaluated next Monday. Honeywell doesn't hold too much value for redraft leagues, as he could be out until late 2019 now, but he should still be stashed in dynasty formats. In his minor league career, he is 32-19 with a 2.97 ERA and a 9.9 K/9.
