6 years agoNew York Mets second basemen Jed Lowrie suffered a hamstring strain on Tuesday. Lowrie has yet to see the field this season due to a sprained left knee capsule and was initially expected to be activated on Friday. This new injury will now send him back to Port St. Lucie, and he will be reevaluated in two weeks.--Joseph Magazzinich
