Kyle Gibson Picks Up Fourth Win
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson did enough to earn his fourth win in a 4-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday. Gibson pitched 5 2/3 innings of three-run ball, striking out five and walking two. While it wasn't a dominant start, Gibson was able to win his second straight decision. The veteran right-hander got off to a rough start this season but has shown improvement. Over the past month, Gibson has a 3.34 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 37 strikeouts in 34 innings of work. He is a decent back-end fantasy starter in 12-team leagues. He will face off against the Seattle Mariners in his next start.
