6 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher James Paxton (left knee) threw a bullpen session on Tuesday in a knee brace. He mentioned that he felt it (knee pain) a little bit, but overall felt good. The next step will be for him to throw another bullpen session on Thursday, also with the knee brace. He’ll continue wearing it until Paxton and the training staff feel he is fully recovered from the injury. Look for an update after his bullpen Thursday or Friday for the next steps. He shouldn’t be dropped in any leagues, as he is 3-2 on the season with a 3.11 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with a 33.6 percent strikeout rate.--Zach Alexander
