Logan Forsythe (1B/2B/3B, TEX) - Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 6% of Yahoo! leagues

ANALYSIS: Elvis Andrus' injury has freed up veteran infielder Logan Forsythe for a full-time job, at least for the time being. Forsythe has crushed the ball so far this season, posting a .320/.418/.534 slash line along with three home runs, 21 RBI and one steal in 30 games played.

Forsythe probably isn't going to return the value he did at the end of his tenure with the Rays, when he hit 37 home runs and swiped 14 bases from 2015-2016, but he is sporting a .407 xwOBA and a 40.3% hard hit rate - which plays exceptionally well at the tiny Globe Life Park in Texas.

While Forsythe has an everyday job, he should be picked up in 12+ team formats. His positional versatility alone gives him value, and the fact that he is stinging the ball right now should return plenty of value for at least a few weeks.
