6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton appears not far away from a return to the majors. He'll begin a minor league rehab assignment on Monday and could return to the Yankees lineup in about a week. Stanton was placed on the IL on April 1 with a biceps injury, and he also suffered a setback with a shoulder issue since then. It's big news for New York as well as fantasy owners to get their slugger back after the 29-year-old crushed 38 homers and 100 RBI a season ago.
