Tommy Pham Production Not Concerning
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham has been struggling over the past few weeks. He’s only hitting .231 with one home run and no stolen bases in the past two weeks but has a .362 on-base percentage. Pham owners shouldn’t panic at this point and is a potential buy-low candidate. His walk rate of 15.5 percent is one of the best in the league and his strikeout rate of 17.6 percent is the best of his career. He still has a healthy BABIP of .325 but it appears that he’s getting some bad luck which is evidenced by his hard hit rate of 52% (among top in the league) and xBA .277. Expect a bounce back in a major way from these past two weeks and check the buy-low market before he heats back up.
