6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz left Sunday's start early after throwing 67 pitches through six innings of work. The right-hander struck out in the bottom of the sixth inning possibly injuring himself on a swing as he curiously wasn't on the mound to begin the seventh. Foltynewicz was having one of his best games of the year giving up three hits with three strikeouts and two solo homers given up against a tough Brewers lineup. After missing the first month of the year with an elbow injury he's struggled to regain his 2018 form, so it's discouraging news after this decent outing. Look for an update later this afternoon on his status going forward.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
