5 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale lasted just 5 1/3 innings Sunday, allowing three runs, on four hits, while striking out 10, and walking five in a 4-3 win over Houston. The southpaw has now earned double-digit strikeouts in four straight starts, dating back to May 3. However, Sunday also marked a season-high in walks, which is discouraging after he walked just one batter over his previous three starts combined. Regardless, it wasn't a completely dreadful outing for the 30-year-old, he just needs to go back to limiting walks, while keeping those strikeout totals high, and owners should be happy. He gets these same Astros on the road next Friday, where he'll hopefully be able to work past the sixth inning.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
