5 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has taken home AL player of the week honors. The top prospect in baseball has broken out in a big way, slashing .333/.417/.905 to go along with four home runs, nine RBI and five runs scored over six games with only one strikeout over 24 plate appearances. Guerrero Jr. had struggled until this point, with only one run and RBI over the course of his first 13 games, but his struggles look to be in the past. There will be ups and downs as with any rookie, but he should be in your lineup every day regardless.--Joseph Magazzinich
