Kevin Kiermaier Hits Third Home Run In Last Four Games
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Kevin Kiermaier hit a three-run inside-the-park home run on Thursday. It was his fifth of the season and third in his last four games. Kiermaier is feeling it right now, but shouldn’t be expected to keep up this power surge. He’s slashing .234/.300/.421 through 43 games with six stolen bases. The good part about Kiermaier is that he isn’t at risk to lose the centerfield job. The being said, he’s not worth rostering outside of the deepest leagues. The six steals show that he could be on his way to his most in a season since his 21 in 2016 but that’s about all he has to offer at this point. He is worth keeping a tab on to see if he can sustain some of the power and maybe pick up the batting average.
