6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Matt Harvey lasted only 2 2/3 innings on Thursday, allowing four home runs and eight runs total in the Twins 16-7 demolishing of the Angels. Harvey was serving it up as his ERA ballooned to an unsightly 7.50 on the season. Harvey had begun to show glimpses of competency over the last month but every positive step forward has been met with drastic steps backwards. He now has surrendered 11 home runs in only 48 innings and is allowing opponents to bat .277 against him. Harvey's time in the rotation may be coming to an end if he can't turn it around quickly.--Joey C - RotoBaller
