J.P. Crawford Finding Success At The Plate
6 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford went 2-for-3 in Friday's game versus the Athletics with a pair of free passes upping his average to .271 on the season. The 24-year-old now has hits in seven of his last eight games although he's struggling to find opportunities to score and drive in runs at the bottom of the lineup. Crawford has taken over the reigns as the starting shortstop giving him some appeal in AL-only leagues. He doesn't run much or hit for much power limiting his overall fantasy value, but if he continues to find success with the bat, the counting stats will surely follow.
