6 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer was in the middle of the team's offensive outburst Saturday going 3-for-5 with three runs. He homered in the eighth inning and added a pair of singles as he now sports a healthy .292/.344/.462 slash line with eight long balls and 30 RBI. Hosmer has bounced back this season with an improved lineup around him after hitting only .253 a year ago. He's not your prototypical power hitting first baseman, but he'll fill up all roto categories admirably. Look for Hosmer to keep rolling into next week when the Friars head to Yankee Stadium for a three-game series.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
