BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 25% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Reddick is worth a look with a fully healthy Astros team. He’s still their third outfielder and will have a ton of RBI opportunities all season long. With a depleted starting lineup and outfield, he’s one of their main weapons behind Bregman and Correa. We’ve seen him move to the leadoff spot in favor of the injured Springer, regularly hit cleanup against righties, and even sneak into the lineup regularly against southpaws. He’s definitely a bit in over his head with a .500+ wOBA against lefties that will even things out, but he currently holds the highest wOBA of his career at .359.
He’s hitting for average while maintaining some power, and has even swiped a pair of bags on the season. He’s only owned in 25% of Yahoo leagues, which is criminal. Even if just for the short term, the Astros are an injured team and they’ll be leaning on Reddick night in and night out to perform.
He’s currently slashing .333/.386/.455, which will inevitably go down with his BABIP, but remain a strong outfielder in one of the more potent offenses in baseball. He’s worth an add in 12+ team leagues and could be worth a short-term add in smaller leagues.
