6 years agoHouston Astros starter Gerrit Cole will face an old division foe when the Astros take on the Cubs in Houston beginning Monday. It has been an up-and-down season thus far for the veteran hurler but comes into Monday's matchup with favorable career numbers against the Cubs. In 14 career starts, Cole is 9-3 lifetime against the Cubs with a 2.50 ERA with an average of 10.3 strikeouts per nine innings. Cole has really struggled at home this season and already has allowed eight home runs at Minute Maid Park in only 31 1/3 innings pitched. Nonetheless, the right-hander will be an above average DFS play for Monday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
