6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Andrew Heaney struck out eight batter through five innings of work in the Angels 7-6 win over the Rangers. Heaney allowed two runs but did not earn the win in his first start of the season. Heaney went 9-10 last season with a 4.15 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 180 strikeouts in exactly 180 innings. The Angels rotation is an absolute dumpster fire right now so the hope is that the 27-year-old lefty can possibly stabilize things moving forward. Expectations, however, need to be tempered from a fantasy perspective as Heaney is no more than a middle of the rotation starter heading into his next start.--Joey C - RotoBaller
