5 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Brewers after crashing into the outfield fence. He pleaded with the training staff to remain in the game, but it was to no avail as he got lifted prior to getting in an at-bat. Buxton's all-out play in the outfield is admirable, but it undoubtedly makes him an injury risk as a baseball player. He's bounced back with his offense this season hitting .258 with five homers and nine thefts after a miserable 2018 where he only managed to play 28 games with the Twins. Look for an update on his status later this evening from the club and consider him day-to-day for now.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
