6 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays recalled third baseman Christian Arroyo from Triple-A on Thursday. Arroyo has taken the next step this season against Triple-A pitching with a .314/.381/.608 slash line over 33 games. His first time up this year didn't breed much confidence, and he's unlikely to play much more than a utility role in Tampa, so he won't have much fantasy appeal. The Rays also sent down Andrew Velazquez in a separate move.--Joseph Magazzinich
