5 years agoJavier Baez finds himself still battling a heel contusion that has bothered him for the past couple of weeks. He will be considered day-to-day, and Addison Russell will take his spot at shortstop for the time being. Russell has been serviceable since his return to the Cubs, recording a .273 AVG, but he is nowhere near the same contributor as Baez.--Nate Duffett
