5 years agoThe Colorado Rockies have recalled second baseman Garrett Hampson from Triple-A prior to Sunday's tilt versus the Blue Jays. The 24-year-old has struggled in sporadic playing time with the big league club this year hitting just .194 with one homer and one stolen base. There doesn't appear to be much room for consistent playing time this go-around either for Hampson with Brendan Rodgers also on the major league roster, so it's not advisable to scramble to the waiver wire. Hampson was hitting .320 in the minors, and the long-term ceiling is still high for the promising prospect. Dynasty owners will have to remain patient until a full-time role comes into fruition.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
