5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he expects catcher Austin Barnes to return to the lineup Friday when the club takes on the Giants in San Francisco. Barnes has been sidelined with a groin injury since May 27 as Will Smith and Russell Martin have handled the duties behind the plate for LA in his absence. Barnes is hitting .231 with four homers and 15 RBI in 40 games this season, numbers that are serviceable in two-catcher and NL-only leagues. His play won't move the needle much for fantasy purposes, but there are worse options out there in a thin catching pool.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
