5 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell was roughed up for six runs in 4 1/3 innings by the Tigers Tuesday. It was a rare bad outing from the ace who had not given up more than two runs in a start since May 1. The good news for fantasy owners is Snell did strike out eight batters so at least he contributed a little something for the ERA damage caused by the start. Despite the rough outing, Snell is an obvious fantasy ace who is a must-start fantasy option even with a brutal matchup lined up for him Sunday in Boston. Snell leads all pitchers in swinging strike rate at 19.1 and has an excellent 2.91 xFIP.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
