5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu allowed just three hits with no walks over seven scoreless innings in a victory in Arizona on Tuesday. He struck out just two batters, but threw 69 of his 104 pitches for strikes and had first-pitch strikes to 15 of the 25 batters he faced. It's the fifth time in six starts Ryu has posted a scoreless outing, including a 32-inning scoreless streak earlier in the season. He will carry an 18 2/3-inning scoreless run into his next scheduled start next Monday on the road against the Los Angeles Angels, kicking off a two-start week for his fantasy owners in seasonal play.--Daniel Dobish
