5 years agoOakland Athletics closer Blake Treinen worked a perfect ninth inning in Tuesday's 4-2 victory against the Los Angeles Angels, securing his 12th save of the season with nine strikes in 13 pitches. Treinen had one of the best seasons in MLB history for a reliever in 2018, and that type of production wasn't really sustainable. He has taken a step back in 2019, but he has successfully converted six straight save chances. Treinen remains one of the premier closers in the game and a strong fantasy option across the board.--Daniel Dobish
