6 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver is getting the day off Wednesday against the Cleveland Indians. Garver has gone 1-for-7 in his return from the injured list and has been somewhat of a revelation for the Twins so far this season. His .314/.410/.698 slash line is superb and the 28-year-old already has nine home runs over just 28 games -- even more important since he's doing it from the catcher position. If he is sitting on your waiver wire he should be scooped up immediately, and there's a good chance he is, as his ownership currently sits at 55 percent in Yahoo leagues. Jason Castro, who has done well in his own right, is starting at catcher and hitting eighth on Wednesday and deserves consideration in what could be a plus matchup for him.--Joseph Magazzinich
