5 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a 9-7 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday. Cruz had just been activated from the injured list on Tuesday after he spent about three weeks on the injured list with a sprained wrist. He picked up where he left off, blasting a solo homer in the third inning. Cruz has put together a strong first season in Minnesota, hitting .261 with an .849 OPS, eight homers, 20 runs, and 23 RBI. Fantasy owners who were counting on Cruz to anchor their lineups can feel free to get him active and back in the starting lineup. He will look to keep it going on Thursday against Cleveland starter Trevor Bauer.--Matt T - RotoBaller
