6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer is taking batting practice and getting closer to returning to the field. The Astros leadoff hitter has been on the shelf with a hamstring injury and it appears that running at full speed will be the last hurdle to clear. Springer told reporters, "Hitting is not an issue, I don't think. I'm happy with how I feel from that standpoint." Clearly the team wants Springer to be 100% before he returns to the lineup so it may take a few more days before a decision is made. When he does return, Springer needs to be immediately activated into all fantasy lineups in all formats.--Joey C - RotoBaller
